UPDATED! Hurricane Relief: Kidizen Shops Giving Back

Have we mentioned you’re awesome? Yes, you. All of you.

We’re always blown away by the Kidizen community and the way each member finds ways to support others. The latest example: a handful of shops are donating a portion of the proceeds from their listings to the American Red Cross for hurricane disaster relief. When they brought their efforts to our attention, we agreed we would help by matching their donations.

(Hat tip to Squinch and Bug, PNW Threads, California Baby, JSeaney, and Peach Girl Jenn for partnering together to kick things off!)

We’ve also found: MolliepopSweet Edie Bow Co., Closet Full of Heart, The Lala Closet, ItsyBitsyBaby, Another Baby Maybe, Ayla in the Rain, and JohnandJoanna Shew. Incredible work, everybody!

UPDATE! Shop SarahSummer is giving 100% of her profits from this week’s sales (9/11-9/17) to organizations assisting people affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Now, we STILL want to know if any other shops are doing something similar so we can feature them in the app to help more people give back and participate. Leave a comment below or email community@kidizen.com and we’ll include you in an upcoming Feature feed update. Want to donate directly to some great causes on the ground in Texas and Florida? Here are direct links to the American Red Cross and Texas Diaper Bank.
